Mahe Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is a sacred period of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection for Muslims worldwide. It is believed to be the month in which the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk, refraining from food, drink, and other physical needs to develop self-discipline and attain closeness to Allah.

The fast is broken each evening with Iftar, traditionally beginning with dates and water, followed by a meal. The nights of Ramadan are filled with Taraweeh prayers and increased recitation of the Quran. The last ten nights, especially Laylatul Qadr, hold immense significance.

Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food but fostering empathy, generosity, and devotion, making it a spiritually enriching experience for believers.
