Mahe Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is a sacred time of fasting, prayer, and spiritual reflection for Muslims worldwide. During this month, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk, refraining from food, drink, and other physical needs to purify the soul and strengthen their connection with Allah.

Fasting, or sawm, is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and teaches self-discipline, patience, and empathy for the less fortunate. Ramadan is also a time for increased prayer, including Taraweeh prayers at night, reciting the Quran, and engaging in charity (sadaqah).

The month concludes with Eid-ul-Fitr, a joyous celebration marking the end of fasting. Mahe Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food but also about spiritual growth, self-improvement, and devotion to Allah.
